1. "Near the beach" needs a second look
"Near My Khe beach" gets used loosely — some places really are a 200m walk, others are 2km away and still use the phrase. Before booking:
- Check the exact location on Google Maps and measure the distance to the beach and to anywhere else you plan to visit (Dragon Bridge, night markets, the city center).
- An Hai is a good area to target — it sits right by My Khe beach, it's a few minutes from Dragon Bridge and downtown, and it has plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby, which makes getting around in the evening much easier.
- Check how easy the entrance is to find, especially if you're arriving with a car or a lot of luggage.

A "good" price is one that matches the location, amenities, and transparency of the listing — not necessarily the cheapest one in the search results. A price well below the neighborhood average often comes with a far-out location, older rooms, or surprise fees at check-in.
5. Small add-on services that save you time
